I don’t got nun to say other than this place is fireeee ! You gotta try it for yourself. The portion of the food will get you full, you probably will have left overs too! The Mac n cheese I had was perfectly seasoned, my chicken tender, very juicy, very tender !!! Tbh this place probably have the best fried okra & the special sauce is so fire, better than that wingstop ranch ! & fries are just fried. Mash potatoes was veryyy good too, they top it with cheese and I think it makes the mash 102992 times better! Our server was amazing, thank you young man!
Fun times! Very informative staff, great service and excellent food. We were informed that this needs to be a place to visit. Our informant did not let us down. Southern, not Cajon or Creole food, good/great stuff. From Nashville hot chicken, Poboy sandwich, shrimp and grits with fried okra. Loved every bit of it. Sorry, no picture of the fried cauliflower it was gone before a picture could be taken. It's definitely one of our top 5 in Lincoln.
Highly Recommend! Got the Nashville chicken tenders, garlic parm potatoes, and cornbread and everything was fantastic. The best cornbread I’ve ever had. The food all seems freshly made and prepared so the wait time wasn’t short but easily worth it. Very reasonably priced as well.
I took my generally-picky kids here for my birthday because I've been meaning to try this place ever since I moved into the neighborhood. I liked the cozy vibe and our server was really nice and attentive. But the standout, of course, was the food. I haven't had good southern food since living on the Gulf Coast nearly 25 years ago and this place hit all the marks. The shrimp and grits were amazing and the greens really took me back. My kids really liked the fries and the Classic sandwich, which is great news for me because we can come back more often. I can't wait to try some more of their dishes. Highly recommended!
We tried Lila Mae’s for the first time last night, and let me tell you, I’m kicking myself for not trying it sooner! Some of the best food I’ve had in a long time! I had the hot chicken and fried pickles, a lot of food for a good price. I never care to take home my left overs, but I made sure to ask for a box because I just couldn’t leave it behind. I loved the live music, her voice was so beautiful. But the volume was just a little loud for the size of the restaurant-but definitely will be back!!
Shared an incredible meal here with my brother and we were both stunned by how delicious everything was. The greens were some of the most wonderful bites I have had in a long time, all around a fantastic place to eat. Great service, great food, so glad that I finally decided to try this place. One of the best restaurants in Lincoln!
Super friendly staff, food was delicious. Bread pudding is a must have if you go. It is busy, so call ahead if you don't want to wait. Went today for mothers day, would recommend. It's a pretty chill atmosphere (didn't get told happy mothers day tho, probably due to the fact I went alone ).
Great food & atmosphere! Stopped here for lunch and left stuffed! The food was fresh and delicious, and the portion sizes were very large for appetizers and meals. We would recommend the fried pickles, wings, and Nashville hot chicken strips. (More like breasts than strips) The garlic Parmesan mashed potatoes and cornbread were super tasty sides! We were greeted right away and checked on often. The service we received was very personable! We will definitely be back!
